Careers guidance is carefully planned from the final year in Lower School when girls make their subject choices for GCSE, and, in the Upper School, all girls have careers lessons as well as individual tutorials. There is a well-resourced Careers Room and girls are helped to make informed and appropriate decisions about their examination subject choices and ultimate careers.
Every girl is offered a week’s work experience following her GCSE examinations. We also make use of ISCO and Connexions to support our own careers work. Almost all the girls go on to read for degrees at university. We give advice and guidance over the choice of courses and application procedures. Mock interviews are held and girls are encouraged to attend university Open Days. |
