A total of 250 decorated and filled shoe boxes were sent, in November, as part of ‘Operation Christmas Child’ from our Senior School and Junior Departments combined.
The shoeboxes made a very festive sight whilst awaiting collection but were a reminder of those less fortunate children in the midst of wars, natural disasters and extreme poverty.
These shoeboxes, decorated and filled by the girls, contained a variety of toys, educational supplies (eg felt pens, crayons), hygiene items (eg hairbrush, soap), and various other items suitable for either boys or girls and for ages 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14. They also included a minimum £2 donation.
Well done girls (and parents)!
