Drama
As with music and art, drama is part of the core curriculum up to Year 9 and may be studied at GCSE; Theatre Studies is a popular choice at A Level. Girls in the Senior School have the option to visit numerous professional productions on the London stage. 
Music plays a major part in the wider life of the School through timetabled lessons including the option to study for GCSE and A Level, and a wealth of extra curricular opportunities. From their earliest days in the Junior Department girls are encouraged to sing in choirs and to learn to play at least one instrument.
Music plays a very important part in the lives of the girls in the Junior Department. All girls will receive two lessons a week, taught by a music specialist. In Year 2 and 3 this is extended to three lessons a week, to allow the girls to learn the recorder and so have a sound introduction to the reading of music and instrumental playing.
