Tormead’s Upper Sixth leavers are celebrating their outstanding A Level results which were published on Thursday, 20 August. The pass rate was 100% with a record 91% of entries achieving the top grades of A or B, and 97% of entries in the top three grades of A, B or C. Of the 56 students who took their A levels this year, 9 achieved 3 A grades, a further 11 achieved 4 A grades and 2 more achieved 5 A grades. With such excellent results, the great majority of girls have now had their places confirmed at their chosen universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, Bristol and Durham.
