Thank you for all the donations of food for our Harvest Festival Assembly - as you can see below, the donations made a wonderful display. The food has been collected by the Salvation Army and will add to their stock of provisions. Less fortunate families in Guildford will benefit from your donations via a food voucher system. During our assembly we thought about the array of fruit of vegetables that we enjoy and whether they are grown ‘overground’ or ‘underground’. We also considered the fact that, whilst we celebrate an abundance of food at our Harvest Festival celebrations, other people suffer from food shortages in many other parts of the world.
