Year 5 have recently returned from a glorious four days in the Welsh countryside. The sun shone continuously ensuring a truly memorable visit! The girls were taking part in their residential visit to Tregoyd House, near Hay-on-Wye. This long awaited visit did not fail to disappoint and the girls have regaled us with tales of dinosaurs, taking a mud bath, archery, fencing, abseiling down and climbing up tall towers. Much of the visit included activities to help with team building and working together. The girls spent a day at Dan-yr-Ogof caves in the Brecon Beacons National Park and then visited the farm to see shire horses. Ice creams were the order of the day. The week was rounded off with the disco and the girls returned home tired but having had a wonderful time.
