Gymnastics Success in the GISGA Championships!

At the beginning of March our gymnastics teams competed in the GISGA (Girls’ Independent Schools' Gymnastics Association) Championships at The British School of Brussels.

Over 500 gymnasts, in Under 10 to Over 13 teams, took part from schools all over the UK, Holland and Belgium.

Our Over 13 team came 1^st in the Team Award, beating Wrekin College (who have held the title for the last 15 years!), and won the Group Floor Award.

The Under 13 team came 1^st in the Group Floor, and 2^nd in the Team Award, narrowly missing first place by .5 of a point, and this despite only having 4 gymnasts competing instead of 5! First place went to Port Regis School.

The U10 team came 2^nd in the Group Floor, and the Over 13 B team beat many
A teams to finish 10^th overall.

All of our gymnasts gave outstanding performances and were rewarded with a very successful weekend.
