Tormead School’s gymnasts continued their run of success in the regional schools round of the Floor and Vault Competition and the Carita Regional Finals, held at Tormead.

The U13 and U19 teams gave very polished performances to win against 25 schools in the regional round of the Floor and Vault Competition’. Having won both the Surrey and Regional Finals, they will now go on to represent the South East region at the National Finals, to be held at Stoke on Trent in May.

In the Carita Regional Finals the U16s competed against 16 schools to win the Floor and Vault Group. They will now represent the South East region in the National Finals in March.

The U13 team also won the Surrey Schools’ Floor and Vault Round held recently at Croydon High School.

Michelle Torpey, Tormead’s Director of Gymnastics, was delighted and said that ‘all the girls rose to the challenge, giving flawless and stunning performances!
