On Saturday the Surrey School Regatta took place on a beautiful, sunny, almost spring day.  Even though the wind did not play ball, there was enough for the competitors to complete three successful races.  The participants were split into two fleets; one for the faster and one for the slower handicap boats.  The 8 sailors, in six boats, from Tormead fared very well.

In the faster handicap fleet Tormead had one entry out of a total of 15 boats.  Sammy Bonella and Lucy Cuckow came first in their Feva, winning both the Class Cup and the Fast Handicap Cup.
