Tayla, winner of the Tormead Future Chef competition, has gone on to win the regional final of ‘Future Chef’. She was competing against chefs from seven other schools and the Judges said ‘”they were bowled over by her calm professional approach.”
She will now be mentored by an Executive Chef from the Food Industry to take her through to the next stage of the competition in February.
The winning menu was:
Main course: Stuffed breast of chicken served with Balsamic cherry tomatoes, green beans and saute potatoes
Dessert: “Chocolate three ways”
