Year 9 Pupil wins Fusion Art Competition

Tormead’s Year 9 artist Chloe is to be congratulated for winning first prize in the Fusion Art Competition hosted by Kent College Pembury. The theme of the Art Competition was ‘My Utopia’. Entries were meant to be inspired by special places you love, whether that is your home, your town, a city or country, or a special pastime or activity.

Chloe chose to create a shell which reflected her desire to live by the sea and her love of music, animals and dance. The Art Competition was judged by a Kent gallery owner and acclaimed artist Mark Paul Perry. Chloe put in many hours creating a truly fantastic piece and it is a great honour to win this prize.
