Our Senior National First Squad took gold, beating fierce competition to secure their place to represent the South East at The British Milano Championships. Our Junior National Team also qualified for the next round after taking the Silver medal.

Such is the depth in our squads that our Senior National B Team also competed in the National category and placed third; our Junior B Team came second in the Regional competition and the two Senior Regional Teams took Bronze and Silver respectively.

Teams can choose whether or not to enter two different categories, National or Regional. To qualify for the British Milano Championships, gymnasts must compete in the National round, and only the top two teams can qualify.  Tormead won the National section in both age groups! However, such is the depth of our talent, we were also able to enter three teams into the Regional round using the Tormead Regional squads and the remainder of the U11 National squad.

It is a resounding result – yet again – for our homegrown talent!
