Year 3 trip to Wisley
Year 3 visited Wisley. The glass house was fully explored with the girls going underground to learn more about roots and in the more humid part of the building they enjoyed discovering different exotic fruits. They were amazed to see miniature sized pineapples and learn that it takes 18 months to grow a full sized fruit! The fruit garden was visited to compare the different fruits grown on a bush and a tree. Then after lunch they took part in a fascinating workshop ‘The Magic of Seeds’.
