“Big Bang” STEM Day at Winchester Science Centre

On Tuesday 28th February, a group of girls from Years 5 and 6 visited Winchester Science Centre, having been invited to take part in their STEM activity day. This was an opportunity for the girls to see Science in action as there were many outside companies, such as South Downs National Park, Southampton University, ICE, Ericsson and ExxonMobil demonstrating how Science and Engineering is relevant to the real world. The girls had a fun packed exciting day exploring the Science on offer and learning more about what it takes to be an astronaut.
