Year 10 Tenner Challenge ‘Stand Strong’ team wins 1st Runner up

The Year 10 team ‘Stand Strong’ led by Morgan and Natascha has won 1st Runner Up in Week One of the Young Enterprise Tenner Challenge.

The Tormead team’s cleverly designed logo came second in the Week One: Logo Competition, which received over 900 entries from schools across the UK. The judges’ feedback for the ‘Stand Strong’ team entry was “consistent, clear logo and message.”  The ‘Stand Strong’ team’s business idea is to produce and market bracelets in support of an Anti-Bullying awareness campaign.

The Tenner Challenge involves student teams working over four weeks to use £10 pledges to set up and run a student company or social enterprise, get their business idea off the ground and make as much profit as they can.
