On Friday 26 November, Tormead’s Atrium was transformed for a very special afternoon tea. The Clayton Society, the name given to the academic scholars across the school, joined together to celebrate their scholar status with a wonderful array of sweet treats prepared by our brilliant catering team.

Joining us for the evening was Francesco Giglio, Professor of Civil and Private law at the Law School of Surrey University. His talk, entitled ‘If you cannot laugh, you cannot adjudicate’ was enjoyed by all and created a great discussion regarding the intellectual process beyond judicial decision-making and the role AI has the potential to play.
