Carols by Candlelight

A candlelit Christ Church provided a welcoming atmosphere for the Senior School’s annual Carols by Candlelight service. The service, which was opened by performances from Tormead organ players and a welcome from Revd. Nick Williams, was full of spectacular performances. The evening featured: The Chamber Choir, Schola Cantorum, Tormead Young Voices and Tormead Vox. Between the performances were readings by Tormead girls from all year groups of the Christmas story and carols sung by the whole congregation.

After the service there was mulled wine and mince pies on offer, a perfect way to end such an enjoyable evening full of talent!

A big thank you to Mrs Ward, Mr Holford, staff and students who took part in putting the evening together. A further thank you to the church wardens and Vicar for hosting the service. The Carols by Candlelight service was a heartfelt way to mark the end of the term and begin the Christmas holidays.
