Tormead alumnae Chloe and Evie (Class of 2022) are currently at our partnership school, Bhu Pu Sainik in Besishaha, Nepal. They are making the most of their time in the country, immersing themselves in the culture and helping with English lessons.

At the end of April we will host four students from Bhu Pu Sainik and their headmaster, Mr Binod Gurung. During their visit the students will spend time at the RGS, Tormead Prep and Tormead Senior. October will see a joint Tormead and RGS Sixth Form expedition to Bhu Pu Sainik in Besishaha. After the hiatus of COVID-19, the partnership is going from strength to strength, to the benefit of all those involved.

Chloe writes:

We’ve settled in now and met many of the students and are loving staying here!

We met Yamuna, who came to England last time and stayed with me, this morning – here is a picture of us trying on the traditional Gurung dress at her house.

We have also met the four Grade 9 students coming to England next month, they are all lovely and very excited. They’re asking us lots of questions about it!
