A Level Success
Tormead pupils are celebrating A Level success with 40% of students achieving at least 1A* grade in their A level results.
- 38% of girls achieved straight A* or A grades
- 64% of exams taken were awarded A* or A
- I in 5 exams sat were awarded an A*
The vast majority of the girls have received offers from their first choice university, in a year when pressure on places has meant some universities raised their entry requirements.
All the staff are delighted with the excellent results and Mrs Christina Foord in her first year as Head is “thrilled that the girls’ hard work has paid off. There are some truly exceptional results which are well deserved. Congratulations to them all and thanks to the Tormead staff for all their support and hard work.”
