Bridge Building Challenge
The Design Technology department combined with our Beacon Programme recently and held the inter house challenge of designing a bridge to move a table tennis ball. Apparently a simple task, a range of designs followed with various constructions appearing in the limited time allowed. Testing provided the girls with much enjoyment as designs either collapsed or succeeded; overall winner was Nightingale. For more information about Design Technology at Tormead click here.
