A very busy day on Sunday when Tormead hosted the Delancey UK Schools’ Chess Challenge Mega final for Surrey. With a large number of schools entering teams, the competition was fast and furious. Well done to all the Tormead Junior School girls who took part.

The Junior School turned red for Red Nose Day, with Keller’s House Charity Day raising over £300 for Comic Relief. Girls were able to come into school dressed in red, and there was a competition for the craziest hair!

Mr McAllister visited Year 3 today to share his knowledge about rocks as this has been their Science topic this half term. The girls appreciated his patience answering their questions so carefully. It was a fascinating talk that furthered their understanding and maybe inspired future geologists!
