Debut for the Tormead Equestrian Team
In the driving rain Helen and Lulu competed in the National Schools Equestrian Association Grass Roots Series at Felbridge Showground show jumping in the big arena for the first time.
They had a lovely clear round in the 60cm Class, then another one to come 5th in the 70cm Class out of a field of 40 and then won the 75cm Class. The 70cm Class result means that they have qualified to jump in the Regional Finals on 28th November at Sands Farm.
Unfortunately the 80cm and 90cm Classes were postponed until December because of the water logging of some of the parking area so competitor numbers had to be reduced. Tormead had 2 entrants in these classes.
What a debut!
