Tormead School is excited to announce the launch of our newly expanded and improved facilities available for hire. After refurbishing many of our spaces, we’re now opening them up to external clubs in our local community for regular training sessions, events and activities out of school hours.

Our spacious, multi-purpose sports hall is a versatile indoor venue that can be adapted for a wide range of sports and activities. The hall can be set up for a variety of sports, including badminton, hockey, netball and cricket. The hall also boasts a sprung floor gymnasium, one of only a few in the country, which can be used for gymnastics, cheerleading, dance, fitness classes and other floor-based activities. Also available in the Sports Hall is a fully equipped fitness suite that could be used for fitness classes or personal training sessions.

For outdoors sports, we have four full-size outdoor netball and tennis courts on our senior school site available for hire. These courts are ideal for local clubs, schools, or organisations in need of a venue for regular matches and/or practice sessions.

At our newly completed Urnfield Sport Ground located at Downside Road, Merrow (GU4 8PH) we have a number of different sports facilities, including a full-sized Astroturf pitch, 400m athletics track, three football pitches (11-a-side & 9-a-side), three cricket pitches, a 6-lane artificial wicket cricket net, and sports pavilion with breath-taking views overlooking the Surrey Downs.

For music performances, theatre productions, conferences or community events we have a number of facilities available from our intimate theatre space in the JCS Auditorium, to our 400-seater main hall (both equipped with sound and lighting systems).

We also offer a range of classrooms for hire, catering to a variety of needs. Whether you require a standard classroom, a room for drama or music rehearsals, art classes, food tech classes, or a more relaxed lounge-style setting, we can provide the right space for your activities.
