At Tormead, we are proud to continue supporting Guildford Food Bank, helping to provide essential items for individuals and families in our local community. At the end of the last financial year, they reported that the demand for food parcels had increased by 9%. Supporting the food bank is an important way for us to demonstrate our core values of kindness, compassion and service, while reminding our pupils of the positive difference they can make in our local community.

To celebrate Tormead’s 120th anniversary, each House was challenged to donate at least 120 items per collection day throughout the academic year. We are delighted to share that the Tormead community donated an incredible 2,014 items across the academic year.

A huge thank you to all our Tormead families and staff for your generosity and continued support. Every donation will help Guildford Food Bank provide vital assistance to those who need it most, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement.
