Just before Christmas, we hosted our hugely popular annual House Fashion and Dance Show. Each house created up to seven costumes made from repurposed and recycled materials which showed off their creative design and sewing skills. The houses all chose different themes for their fashion shows, with Wellington donning togas and feathered wings in a homage to some of their favourite Classical gods. Nelson picked Disney villains as their theme, with Scar and Cruella eliciting cheers from the audience. We were taken back to 2020 with Livingstone’s End of the World theme and a ballgown made from PPE – whilst Mr Wilkinson made an excellent alien. Finally, Nightingale asked ‘Who dunnit?’ with Sherlock Holmes inspired dresses and a murder for the audience to solve. 

Congratulations to Nelson and Nightingale who came joint first in the Fashion section, but it was Nightingale’s further win in the Dance section which ultimately saw them crowned the overall winners.
