Junior School Supports Age UK Christmas Carol Service

Tormead Junior School contributed to Age UK’s Christmas Carol Service, which can be viewed and enjoyed in full here: https://www.ageuk.org.uk/surrey/activities-and-events/christmas-carol-concert/

Carols are led by the Guildford Cathedral singers, the welcome is by the Dean of Guildford, The Very Reverend Dianna Gwilliams, and there is a performance by Guildford Rock Choir.

The Junior School’s Christmas carols were filmed during a truly uplifting day at Christchurch. The Junior School’s contribution included Christmas songs by Year 5 and 6 choirs, with Year 3, Year 2 and Year 1 singing Away in a Manger. In addition to the music and song, Tormead Junior School’s Christmas Mufti Day raised funds for Age UK, helping this valuable charity to provide services to the elderly in our community.

Age UK Surrey thanked Tormead Junior School for our contribution to the Carol Service, noting how impressive the girls’ performances were, which added so much to the overall service.  Tormead’s contribution can be viewed below.
