Live Broadcast on BBC Radio
For the third consecutive year, our choir of girls in Years 6-8 travelled up to Manchester to participate in a live broadcast of The Daily Service from Emmanuel Church, Didsbury. The girls sang a service of Evensong in Blackburn Cathedral, where two of our organ students were able to have the opportunity to play the cathedral organ.
As well as all their music-making, a highlight of the trip was a visit to the Museum of Science and Industry. We had great fun with their hands-on exhibits, as well as listening to some superb talks and demonstrations by museum staff.
It was a super trip and we are already looking forward to going again next year!
