National Champions for the 10th Year

Congratulations to our gymnasts who competed at the Independent Schools National Championships this weekend. The girls delivered an exceptional performance, achieving remarkable team and individual success against strong national competition.

In the U9 category, the team secured 4th place overall alongside an impressive 2nd place in the group competition. The U11 team were crowned National Team Champions with 1st place and also achieved 1st place in the group event. The U15 team demonstrated strength and precision to claim 1st place team and 1st place group. In the Over 13 category, the team delivered another excellent performance, earning 1st place team and 2nd place group.

Special recognition must also go to those gymnasts who achieved top six individual national placings:

U11
Miru 1st
Tianlin 6th

U15
Jess 1st
Abigail 5th
Amelie 5th

O13
Sonia 1st
Sienna 3rd
Niamh 5th

While these team and individual achievements are outstanding, the greatest accomplishment for the school is that the results from this weekend, combined with the performances of the girls who competed in the U10 and U13 competitions before half term, have secured the overall whole school national title for Tormead for the tenth consecutive year.

Winning the national title for ten consecutive years is a truly exceptional achievement and reflects the sustained dedication, talent and commitment of our gymnasts and coaching team across all age groups. We are immensely proud of every gymnast who has contributed to this historic success.
