National Schools Regatta funding
Tormead Rowing received some great news over Christmas. In recognition of the progress made so far as a new club, the National Schools Regatta have awarded the Tormead Rowing Club funding of £14,000 to purchase a coxed quad/four. In a joint award for both Tormead Rowing Club and our host club, Weybridge Ladies Amateur Rowing Club, The Rowing Foundation have also awarded us a small grant to purchase eight sweep oars to enable both clubs to progress into sweep rowing. What a wonderful start to 2024 for the rowing club!
