Nightingale Charity Day

A big thank you to everyone who took part in our non-uniform charity day for the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. It was an exceptional day with everyone embracing our animal themed mufti day so wholeheartedly. We loved the costumes that we saw throughout the day. We had a huge amount of cakes from Nightingale so well done everyone who brought in food. As a result, we had to hold two cake sales (one at break and one at lunch) so everyone had time to buy a cake or two and support such a great cause.

In addition to our cake sales, we had some fun activities at lunchtime for everyone to enjoy. These included games such as ‘Pin the horn on the rhino’ and ‘Guess the number of snakes in the jar’. The turnout for these was great, with one of the Year 9 pupils being the closest to the correct number of 116. Well done to everyone who participated and thank you all for taking part in our charity day which raised over £600 for saving endangered elephants.
