We were delighted to welcome a team from Octopus Energy in January to provide Year 12 students with a mock interview. Preparation began in December with students researching green energy and submitting a short application form detailing their interests and achievements. This meant each interview was personalised, enabling the students to practice expanding their answers with encouragement from the interviewer. On-the-spot feedback was given at the end of the interview, followed by written feedback for the students to keep as a record of their experience. Both students and the Octopus Energy interviewers were extremely positive about the day, and we look forward to this being an annual event.
