Sixth Form Winter Formal

As the last of our events with the RGS before the New Year, Tormead hosted the annual Winter Formal, raising money for our partner school in Nepal. A group of Sixth Form students from both schools visited Nepal last October half-term, and it was great to raise money for a cause so close to many of our hearts in the Sixth Form. With the theme of masquerade, it was lovely to see our classmates all dressed up for a great night of dancing and fun. We had the IT team in the DJ booth, who kept the party going with a great selection of songs selected by the Sixth Form.

One of the highlights of the night was the ‘who is most likely to…’, where guests voted in a series of categories yielding a Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth winner. With questions such as best dynamic duo, most likely to be a billionaire, and best dressed on non-uniform days, it was great fun to see who voted who and for what. Another highlight of the evening was the photo booth that gave everyone something to remember the night by.

A big thank you to the IT team, marketing, Sixth Form leadership and catering teams for making the night such a success; we could not have brought it all together without your support.
