Sports Day 2025 was a fantastic showcase of athletic talent, determination and Tormead spirit, held for the first time at our new home of athletics at Urnfield. With our 400m track, dedicated throwing areas, and jumping facilities all in full use, the stage was set for an exciting day of competition.

The warm summer weather and new state-of-the-art facilities brought out a strong crowd of parents, whose cheers spurred the athletes on as they gave their all. The atmosphere was buzzing with friendly rivalry between the Houses, and the standard of performances was outstanding.

Several school records were broken across the day:

A special mention goes to Florence H, who was crowned Iron Woman for accumulating the most points across her events in all year groups.

After a day of incredible effort, skill and sportsmanship, Nelson House emerged as the overall champions.

Sports Day 2025 will be remembered not just for the records and results, but for the way every competitor embodied the values of teamwork, resilience and Tormead spirit.
