Superb GCSE results announced
Following on the heels of an excellent set of A Level results Tormead is celebrating for the second time in a week, as the GCSE results are announced.
A superb 82% of GCSE’s examinations taken were awarded grade A* or A (the national average is 23%) with 43% gaining the highest A* award and 66% of students achieving at least 8 A* or A grades.
Mrs Christina Foord congratulated all the girls on an impressive set of results. “This is an important preparation for their A Level studies. I am thoroughly delighted for all the girls, who have worked hard and have been rewarded with excellent results.”
