The Tormead Enrichment Award is given to an alumna who aspires to progress her talents in a particular field. Whether it be career progression, educational advancement or a personal lifelong goal, Tormead always wants to support the Tormeadian community beyond our gates.

This year, we are incredibly proud to be able to give our Enrichment Award to two worthy alumnae who we could not choose between. Both recipients will be awarded £750 to support their professional journeys.

Lara (Class of 2006) intends to use her funds to pursue a career in film production, particularly championing female voices and stories; a message we wholly support.

Sophie (Class of 2007) plans to use her funds to support her PhD in creating a lifelong love of learning for neurodivergent people who struggle with resilience, comprehension, reading and communication, helping them to navigate a rapidly changing world.

We wish Lara and Sophie the best of luck and cannot wait to hear about their successes.
