Tormead Singing Festival
The Tormead annual Singing Festival was hosted on 16 November. This event is open to everyone, whether they currently take in-school singing lessons or not. With categories for both classical and contemporary styles for the Upper and Lower School respectively, it gives students the opportunity to perform a solo publicly – a great way to improve their confidence and experience in front of an audience – and receive beneficial feedback from the professional adjudicator judging the event. For the audience members, the festival is a spectacular opportunity to hear the incredible vocal talents of those taking part across the school and a good indication of the supportive and encouraging atmosphere that Tormead upholds.
