We really enjoyed staying at Rockley Activity Centre. It was a brilliant experience for all of us and we all learned a lot. While we were there, we faced challenges and problems but we overcame them and had a great time. From mega SUP (stand up paddleboarding) to the Rockley challenge to the tower, we all faced some kind of fear and will never forget our time there. The activities were top-notch and overall, everyone agreed that the mega SUP on water sports was the best activity.

The accommodation and food were delicious with hot meals, a salad bar,  yummy puddings and a wide variety of breakfast choices. It was great fun sleeping in tents -they were clean, warm and made us feel safe. Thank you so much to Rockley and all the Tormead staff who came with us for a great time. It was really fun getting to know everybody in Year 7 and making lots of new friends and bonding really well.

For all the future Year 7s, we have some advice: throw yourself into everything on the residential, face your fears and get to know everyone. Don’t be shy – the person you never spoke to could be your best friend after it.
