Effective from Autumn Term 2023

Fees are due and payable on or before the first day of the term to which they relate.

Tuition fees

Reception (Age 4+) £3,500.00 per term
Years 1 – 2 (Age 5+ and 6+) £3,700.00 per term
Years 3 – 4 (Age 7+ and 8+) £5,450.00 per term
Years 5 – 6 (Age 9+ and 10+) £5,520.00 per term
Years 7 – 13 £6,325.00 per term

School lunches

Senior School Lunches £355.00 per term
Prep School Lunches – Years 5 and 6 £300.00 per term
Prep School Lunches – Reception to Year 4 inclusive £265.00 per term

Coach services

Full Time Pass (10 journeys per week) £500.00 per term
Part Time Pass (9 journeys per week) £470.00 per term
Part Time Pass (8 journeys per week) £450.00 per term
Part Time Pass (7 journeys per week) £425.00 per term
Part Time Pass (6 journeys per week) £395.00 per term
Part Time Pass (5 journeys per week) £365.00 per term
Ad-hoc Single Tickets

Third daughter discount

Two thirds of the term’s tuition fees will be charged for the third and subsequent daughters of a family, all of whom are in attendance at one and the same time.


Registration fee and deposits

A non-returnable Registration Fee of £125.00 is payable on completion of the Registration Form.

Prep School (including Reception) £750.00
Senior School £1000.00

In the case of a pupil whose normal residence is outside the United Kingdom at the time of acceptance of a place, the school reserves the right to require an Additional Deposit to be paid, such that the Acceptance Deposit plus the Additional Deposit equate to one full term’s fees.

For current Tormead Prep-School students accepting a place into Year 7, a deposit of £500 will be due.


Notes

The tuition fee includes books, stationery and equipment. It does not include certain books and items that become the girl’s property, examination fees, optional lessons, special coaching or educational visits.

A term’s notice in writing is required for the withdrawal of a pupil from the coach service.

Any change to lunch arrangements now requires only half a term’s notice in writing, rather than a full term. Please e-mail any changes to accounts@tormeadschool.org.uk by the following cut-off dates:

2023 / 2024 Academic Year

Autumn Term 2023

For changes for the first half of the Autumn Term notice is required by Friday 7 July 2023

For changes for the second half of the Autumn Term notice is required by Friday 22 September 2023

Spring Term 2024

For changes for the first half of the Spring Term notice is required by Friday 24th November 2023

For changes for the second half of the Spring Term notice is required by Friday 19th January 2024

Summer Term 2024

For changes for the first half of the Summer Term notice is required by Friday 1st March 2024

For changes for the second half of the Summer Term notice is required by Friday 3rd May 2024

Autumn Term 2024 / 2025 Academic Year

For changes for the first half of the Autumn Term 2024 notice is required by Friday 5th July 2024

Fees and charges are reviewed annually and are subject to increase from time to time. The School reserves the right to charge interest on fees which are unpaid, and parents shall also be liable to pay all costs, fees, disbursements and charges (including legal fees) in the recovery of any unpaid fees. No reduction is made for absence, whether for illness or any other cause.
