Attending an Open Day event is an ideal way to get to know our school; meet our Heads, David Boyd and Nicki Fry; and hear directly from our pupils what they love about Tormead. We are delighted to announce that Rydes Hill Preparatory School & Nursery joined the Tormead family on the 1^st September 2025. 

Rydes Hill and Tormead have enjoyed a close relationship for decades, with many Rydes Hill girls choosing Tormead for their senior education. This partnership will allow each school to continue to focus on its strengths, and to retain its individuality, whilst reaping the benefits of joining together two excellent educational establishments.  

The addition of Rydes Hill to the Tormead family will allow us to be able to offer families a year-round Nursery and Pre-Prep provision for boys and girls (including fee discount for siblings) with the added convenience of a single drop-off point for all siblings.
