Balinese Gamelan Workshop
Year 7 were given the opportunity to take part in an ‘Indonesian Gamelan’ workshop.
A full size Gamelan Orchestra complete with gongs and metallophones appeared in school and in just over an hour, the girls learnt the basic customs and techniques of performing gamelan music and took part in a short performance of an authentic Indonesian composition.
