A Midsummers Night’s Dream

Tormead witnessed a monumental celebration of William Shakespeare’s 450th birthday: the stunning production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Janine Hansen.

This play has entranced audiences over the past four hundred years and embraces the magic and beauty of Shakespeare’s words, along with his fascination with sleep, dreams and fairies.

In addition to stellar dramatic performances, this tribute to the life and works of our most celebrated playwright also featured music, art and film.

Girls from Years 7 to 12 took part, showcasing their incredible talent, including stage management, lighting, costume, hair and make up.
