YEAR 1 VISIT PAINSHILL PARK

Year 1 enjoyed a sunny day at Painshill Park. They spent the morning building a cave for a bear, painting and creating woodland creatures. The girls worked in teams to collect logs, sticks, leaves and anything else they could find to make a comfortable home for Winnie the Pooh; some homes even had swimming pools and a harp for Pooh to play! Next we searched for natural materials and ground them up to make water paints, then the girls created their own wild woodland animal using sticks feathers and finger painting techniques; finally they made amazing mud faces on the trees. After lunch we headed off on our pirate treasure hunt, the girls used their map reading skills and followed the clues through the park until they found the treasure! We all had a fantastic day.
