English Chess Federation National Schools Chess Championship

In the English Chess Federation National Schools Chess Championship held at St Catherine’s over the weekend Tormead came second in the U11 Girls Final, winning an impressive glass trophy for the School and medals for the girls.

Eight teams were in the final and in the seven rounds all schools played each other in teams of three. On board one Felicity won all her games. On board two, Raina scored five points. The games on board three were shared by Appoorvaa  and Élise.
