Geography GCSE Visit to Box Hill

The Year 10 Geographers visited Box Hill last week to gain the data necessary for their iGCSE coursework. Working with the staff at the National Trust Education Centre, the girls were able to understand the possible issues at this popular location. The overall aim was to examine the impact on the area of visitors. After an initial briefing the girls worked in groups collecting a variety of data ranging from footpath analysis to talking to visitors. The weather was kind and all the girls had a great time.
