Junior School Team Are District Athletics Champions
Congratulations to our Junior School Athletics team, who were crowned District Athletics Champions 2018. In an outstanding performance, the girls won fourteen 1st place ribbons, fourteen 2nd place ribbons and ten 3rd place ribbons, for a total score of 654 points, securing them the District Athletics Trophy. We are extremely proud of all the girls and their coach – well done!
Field events highlights include:
- Daniela – joint 1st in the U9A high jump
- Charlotte – 1st in the U10B shot put
- Yasmin – 1st in the U11B long jump
- Kitty – 2nd in the U9B rounders ball throw
- Eve and Emily – both 3rd in the respective U9A and U9B long jump
- Sophie – 3rd in the U9B rounders ball throw
- Amelie – 2nd in the U11 high jump
Seventeen girls qualified for track events finals. Highlights include:
- 1st place in the finals:

- Rosie – U10B 600m
- 2nd place in the finals:
- Amelie – U11 100m final (in district record-breaking time)
