Drama workshop with RGS
On 12 September, Iona from the wonderful all-female theatre company, The Paper Birds, came to Tormead and delivered an inspirational workshop to all our GCSE and A Level Drama students, as well as visiting students from the RGS Drama Department. Iona enabled the students to create high quality work in the distinctive style of The Paper Birds on the theme of equality, using quotes from Marcus Rashford and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie as engaging stimuli. It was a truly wonderful and thought-provoking afternoon which left the students with hundreds of ideas for practical work in the future. We are looking forward to our next workshop later in the term.
