Condover Netball Tour

The netball trip to Condover was an unforgettable experience for our U13 and U14 A and B teams last weekend. The tour was based at Condover Hall in Shropshire. Upon our arrival in the afternoon, we were shown to our dorms before being shown a range of activities. Later in the evening, we had the privilege of listening to Nat Panagary, an England netball player and captain of the Loughborough Lightning team who shared her experience and inspired us all for the upcoming days of competition.

Saturday was the start of our official tournament. Each team played 8 matches against both A and B teams from schools across the country. All of our teams played extremely well and successfully gained spots in the trophy, cup and plate leagues. The competition was fierce, with 27 teams in the U13 group and 26 teams in the U14 group. The tournament showed the dedication and talent of our players.

On the second day of the tournament, we played pools within our qualifying groups. A highlight for the U14s was when we played St. Cats and doubled their score; the team played amazingly! The U14 and U13 A teams both secured 8th position overall, the U14 Bs achieved a joint 7th place in the cup, and the U13 Bs finished in 6th place in the plate. This is something each team should be very proud of! The netball tour to Condover always stands out as an exciting and much anticipated sporting trip.

Well done everyone, a fantastic weekend of netball!
