Year 11 Christmas Markets Trip

We spent the 14th and 15th of December visiting the Christmas markets in Bruges after a few tiring days doing our GCSE mock exams. The coach trip was memorable – full of singing, card games and Netflix as well as many inconclusive discussions on the rules and regulations of Uno! In the evening, we arrived at the youth hostel and were greeted with delicious food and a comfy bed before a full day of shopping. We woke up early on the 15th ready for a historic tour of Bruges. The scenery was beautiful and many photos were taken in front of the multiple Christmas trees. After buying some essentials – Belgian chocolate, a warm scarf and more tasty food – we got back on the bus for the journey home and even more inconclusive discussions on Uno. We all arrived safely back home, truly ready to enjoy Christmas!
