The Spring Term concluded with our annual House Music competition, with the theme ‘A Night At The Oscars’. This marks the first competition our new House Captains have orchestrated, working alongside the whole house to produce two performances. As always, there was a wealth of talent on display in each House, from both pupils and staff!

First up was Nelson with their enthusiastic rendition of ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ and ‘Skyfall’. Following on was Nightingale, who performed ‘Young and Beautiful’ from The Great Gatsby, and ‘From Now On’ from The Greatest Showman. Wellington sung ‘What Was I Made For’ from Barbie, and had their very own samba band for their performance of ‘We’re All in This Together’.

This year’s winner of the House Music competition was Livingstone, who shone with their performance of ‘Something That I Want’ from the Disney film Tangled and ‘Slipping Through My Fingers’ from Mamma Mia.
