Our Spring Concert took place before the Easter Holidays – an opportunity to celebrate our Year 13 leavers as well as showcase the music of our larger, and chamber, ensembles. It is always a privilege to see our students grow in musical confidence during their time at school and Year 13 presented some fantastic solos – and a duet – to an appreciative audience. Our larger ensembles – Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Band – filled the room, and no fewer than four choirs took the floor, presenting a range of music from sacred to a cappella with Tormead Vox’s rendition of ‘Royals’ a notable highlight. My thanks go to Miss Parry and our team of Visiting Music Teachers, our wonderful pupils who took part and our supportive Tormead families.
